Ardit (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) values the privacy of its users (“user” or “you”). This Privacy Policy details how we collect, protect, and manage your information within our financial management mobile application. By using the App, you agree to the terms described herein. If you do not agree, please do not access the App.
1. Introduction and Scope
This policy governs the use of the App. We reserve the right to modify this document at any time to adapt to legislative changes or technical improvements. We will notify you of any changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top.
2. Information We Collect
Under the principle of data minimization, the App processes locally only the information strictly necessary for its operation:
- Financial Data: Records of income, expenses, accounts, currencies, and categories manually entered by you.
- Identification Data: Your email address, only if you choose to contact our technical support.
- Diagnostic Data: Anonymous technical information about errors (crashes), loading times, and system performance.
3. Storage and Data Sovereignty
- Local Storage: Unlike other apps, the App stores your financial data exclusively locally on your mobile device. We do not have access to your transactions nor do we store them on our own servers.
4. Use of Information
We use the collected information to:
- Generate requested charts, reports, and visual analyses.
- Manage the logic of multiple currencies, categories, subcategories, and other App functionalities.
- Fix technical errors using diagnostic data to improve App stability.
- Aggregated Analysis: We may use aggregated technical information (such as feature usage statistics and operating system versions) not linked to your identity. This allows us to analyze collective trends to prioritize design improvements and new features. This analysis never includes details about your transactions or balances.
- Important: We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal or financial information to third parties.
5. Export and User Responsibility
The App offers functionality to export your data for personal backups.
- Responsibility: Once data is exported outside the App environment (to services like Google Drive, Dropbox, email, physical storage, or any other type of storage), the security of that information is the sole responsibility of the user.
- Third Parties: The use of those exported files will be governed by the privacy policy of the platform where the user chooses to store them.
6. Service Providers (Third Parties)
We may collaborate with external providers for certain functions:
- Advertising: We use Google AdMob to show ads. These may use anonymous identifiers to personalize advertising.
- Analytics: Firebase Crashlytics may process anonymous behavioral data to optimize the interface and user experience (UX/UI).
7. User Rights (GDPR / CalOPPA)
You have full control over your data:
- Access and Rectification: You have full control over your data and can consult or modify it at any time within the App interface.
- Deletion: Being based on a local storage system, clearing internal data or uninstalling the App will result in the permanent deletion of all your financial information from the device. If the user has generated backups or exports stored outside the App environment, it will be the user’s sole responsibility to manage their definitive deletion on the corresponding external platforms.
- Do Not Track: We honor “Do Not Track” signals from browsers and operating systems.
8. Security
The security of your financial data primarily resides in the integrity of the mobile device where the App is hosted. Therefore:
- User Responsibility: The use of active protection measures, such as strong passwords, biometric locks (fingerprint or facial recognition), and keeping the operating system updated, is strongly recommended.
- Wi-Fi Network Usage: We recommend avoiding the use of public or unsecured Wi-Fi networks when managing or exporting your data, as this could expose your device to external interceptions outside the App’s control.
- Disclaimer of Liability: The App is not responsible for any security breach, unauthorized access, loss, or theft of data occurring as a result of vulnerabilities, security failures, lack of protection, loss, theft, or misuse of the user’s mobile device. As it is local storage, the physical and digital custody of the terminal rests exclusively with its owner.
9. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we detect that a minor has provided us with support data, we will delete it immediately.
